If you find yourself in the tranquil waterside district of Tay Ho, make sure to take a breather at Milk and Honey Express, a delightful café located at 46 Tu Hoa Cong Chua, Hanoi. This café is more than just a spot to grab a coffee; it’s a cozy retreat where the aroma of freshly brewed drinks wafts through the air, enticing passersby to step inside.

Atmosphere: With a warm and welcoming ambiance, Milk and Honey Express is perfect for everything from casual catch-ups to relaxed work sessions. Though some patrons have noted that the café can become a bit lively—like the time a boisterous customer disrupted the tranquil vibe—the rich flavors of their offerings can quickly make you forget such distractions. The café is decorated in a modern style with comfortable seating that invites you to sit back and indulge.

Culinary Highlights: One of the stars of the menu is undoubtedly their hot chocolate, which many guests describe as a comforting hug in a cup, perfectly paired with their delicious scones that are a must-try. Light, fluffy, and served with house-made jams, these are the kind of pastries that bring a smile with every bite. For those seeking something savory, the Mediterranean openface sandwich on sourdough is a standout option; it's a delightful mix of flavors that dances on your taste buds. However, it’s worth noting that some have found the Grilled Chicken Baguette to be less memorable, so perhaps it’s best to stick to the more popular items for a reliable experience.

Customer Experiences: Hear it directly from fellow coffee lovers; Eileen Lui praises the café’s heavenly scones and hot chocolate that can brighten up any day. On a gloomy, rainy afternoon, Williams Đặng found solace in a rich cappuccino paired with a pain au chocolat, an experience that turned a dreary day into something sublime. Meanwhile, Natalia Perez appreciates the café for its inviting atmosphere, perfect for work sessions, along with their impressive range of teas and the delightful sourdough toast that pairs harmoniously with homemade jam.

In conclusion, Milk and Honey Express isn’t just a café; it’s a retreat for coffee enthusiasts and pastry lovers alike. With friendly staff who make you feel at home and a menu packed with delicious offerings, this café has something for everyone. If you're in the area, make it a point to stop by and savor the delightful tastes that await.

The place isn't soundproofed and there was a really loud dude talking at another table. But their hot chocolate and the scones were really really good. I'd come back just for the scones. The Mediterranean open-face sandwich on sourdough was very good too. Unfortunately, the Grilled Chicken Baguette was dry and tasteless. I stuffed it with the chips that came with the banh mi to get some flavour out of it

One rainy afternoon in Hanoi, I stopped by a café to take shelter and ordered a cappuccino with a pain au chocolat. The coffee was rich, with smooth, aromatic foam—just warm enough for the chilly weather. The pastry was crisp, with a light layer of chocolate that wasn’t too sweet—perfectly balanced. I was especially impressed by two staff members: a polite and friendly young man with blond hair and glasses, and a skillful, attentive young woman in the kitchen, also wearing glasses. A small but delightful experience in the midst of a rainy Hanoi day.

Great little spot for a quiet work session. The coffee is western style (not very strong if that is your preference) and they have a nice tea variety. They have combos at a good price and delicious scones and pastries. I like the sourdough toast as they serve it with homemade jam. The staff are lovely always!
